Initiator of the revolution movement with the Plan
de San Luis, he became President of Mexico in 1912
with the motto “effective suffrage and no re-election.”
Living in turbulent times and during the “Tragic
10 Days” he was assassinated with his Vice-President
Jose Ma. Pino Suarez in 1913.
